Why does the weight increase with length?
The weight is matched to the length so that the density of the ponytail is similar in every variant, while the ponytail itself stays light and doesn't weigh down the scalp. A longer ponytail simply has more hair.
How to choose the length?
- 35–45 cm – short, the lightest ponytails; comfortable for everyday wear and work.
- 55 cm – medium length; a good compromise between effect and comfort.
- 70 cm – long, eye-catching ponytails; the widest choice of textures.
- 90 cm – the longest and thickest variant; for an evening out, a wedding or a photo shoot.
Texture and length
Curls and waves visually shorten a ponytail. A 70 cm afro curl model will look shorter than a straight ponytail of the same length. If you want the look of very long curly or wavy hair, choose a longer variant.
